Heat-insulating polymer coating ASTRATEK universal for thermal insulation of building structures and metal surfaces.
ASTRATEK universal is a basic composition for insulation of any objects and structures made of brick, concrete, metal, plastic, wood and other materials. Universal liquid insulation ASTRATEK is specially designed for insulation of buildings and different structures, pipes, gas, oil and steam pipelines, including shut-off valves; steam boilers, chimneys, flues, tanks for petroleum products’ storage and transportation, chemicals, food products; technological and water heating equipment and other objects requiring thermal protection with the operational mode from -60 to +200 °C (with a maximum peak load about 260 °C for 1-2 hours).
Coatings of ASTRATEK are characterized by a high and stable adhesion level, excellent weather and corrosion resistance. ASTRATEK (universal) has a sufficient permeability coefficient of diffusion for water vapor, providing a stable vapor permeability of insulated structures.
Thermal insulation polymer coatings ASTRATEK (universal) shall be applied in layers. The thickness of the put liquid insulation ASTRATEK layer should not be more than 0.4 mm. The rate of the material consumption for a single-layer coating is about 1 liter per 1.5 - 2 square meters. The complexity of an application is similar to the complexity of any painting works. The service life of the polymeric coating Astratek is 15 - 25 years (depending on operating conditions).
The manufacturer of the liquid insulation ensures a consistent quality of the material at least for a one year during its transportation and storage under appropriate conditions.
Hazard category (as a chemical composition) for ASTRATEK is 4 (GOST 12.1.007-76). The material may be considered as a safe load for transportation.
Thermal insulation polymer coatings ASTRATEK (universal) are available in a cold-resistant version. The material marked "frost resistant" can be transported and stored at temperatures up to -40 °C for a month with allowed up to 5 cycles of freezing.
